Has nothing to do with a booster flying a prospect to town for a visit. That is, was and always has been a recruiting violation. The NIL part of it is separate.

A 'booster' (someone who has donated money to a university) can certainly make an NIL agreement with anyone they want (if that in fact actually happened).

And yes, he can certainly fly a recruit in for any reason whatsoever. He can then get the recruit to sign some autographs or something as recompense.

You're thinking like it's still pre-NIL.

As long as the University, itself, didn't fly him in, this is a nothing-burger.
