Sure I could see why Florida fans would enjoy it. Not really fair to Georgia fans though

Jacksonville is a terrible host city.

Such a large area, nothing to do but Top Golf.

Their beaches are depressing, food is okay.

I agree!

For sure. Who would like taking a week of vacation to go party on St. Simon's Island?

What many seem to not understand is that it is actually more fun for Georgia fans than Florida fans.

Georgia does it right. They close the school on Friday and make it a long weekend and go to St. Simons, which is one of the prettiest places on earth. This means they leave Athens on Thursday after class and make a long weekend out of it. It's like a mini- spring break for them. Florida rolls in on Friday night or Saturday morning.

It is also closer than Athens for many fans in South Georgia, so they attend regularly. it adds an extra hour for the already long drive for South Florida Gators. The trip from the two biggest cities in each state (Atlanta, Miami) is about the same.
