There's a reason UGA administrators have been holding out against selling ale to their fans inside the stadium .... and it's a good reason.

I can't wait to bark right in the face of kids with beer breath for the first time. Even better if they are wearing Gamecock shirts

Back when I was a student living off campus the property owner would occasionally stop by to do maintenance. He was a native and loved to talk about wild times from Athens past.

Apparently the whole county ran out of alcohol a few times when Sanford first started hosting night games...told me he had to sell some of his property after it was burned in a riot
