I think you’re overreacting a little. State is safely in the tourney right now. And probably only needs to get to 9-9 or 8-10. You’re also assuming some auto losses in games that State actually has at least somewhat of a chance in.

I think @Bama and @Auburn will be really tough but I won’t say State’s chances are zero. And everything else is a toss-up at worst. State’s February schedule doesn’t appear to be nearly as daunting as this January schedule was. Like once they get past the Bama game they could very realistically win 5 of the next 6.
