Ogeechee River starts north of I 20 between Athens and August, Ga and runs completely unfettered, including ALL tributaries in the drainage , un-damned making the Ogeechee and its drainage arguably the largest free flowing drainage left on earth AND the most pristine river system left because it has been left exactly like it had always been. It is certainly one of very few in the US left in its natural state.
