BJ just didn't have a position, he was an athlete playing QB at Vigor IIRC.

He wasn't a natural passcatcher or route runner, and a lot of athletes sink when you take the ball out of their hands and put them on defense.

I know he played it a little in HS, but I remember ArDarius Stewart absolutely hating playing DB in the AL/MS game practices. His words and body language were LOUD, he wanted to be a playmaker. He had some hiccups at Bama, worked through some drops and had to learn to run routes to become a playmaker.

I think had Scott had stuck it out, he would have found a role too.
