I see us in the playoffs. I see us eventually facing OSU. I see us giving OSU and the two who will remained unnamed such a beating that no one will ever want to transfer from Bama to OSU again.
I know. I know. I'm all that's wrong with Alabama Fans. But I really believe what I'm saying.
I love Coach Saban. But it seems like it got to where if we didn't have a five star with two years of experience around here at every position, then we had glaring weaknesses. He was a great recruiter who established a culture of invincibility. But he was not, imo, a great developer of talent in many cases. And he was certainly not a great coach schematically.
I expect another level development in the QB room. I EXPECT a schematic advantage every Saturday. And I expect another level of focus and hunger across the board.
Like the scripture says,
"Behold, I make all things new again."
And we are about to see that again at Bama. Winning will feel new. Playing will feel new. Our our attitude will be new.
Deboer isn't an idiot. And he is no gambler. He knew that Bama was a sure thing for him... a done deal. And it is.
I sleep well at night. Like a baby. And I love winning.

So let me get this straight. You lose the best coach of all time. Ever. You lose a lot of players from the portal draft etc. and next season you will have a BETTER RECORD than last year AND MAKE it further in the playoffs than you did last year? Man, those crimson glasses are pretty thick aren’t they?
Reality check. I know it’s gonna be hard for some of you. Really hard. Because some of you think that there is gonna be no drop off after a roster and coaching change. You are just gonna joyless murderball the entire country. Ok then. But mark my words. You are closer to 7-5 than you are 12-0. Not even saban won 8 games in his first year. Let’s temper the expectations just a fuzz shall we? There’s gotta be growing pains. That’s just a fact. Just take a look at my team. We are loaded everywhere, and just made the playoffs, but I think we will take a step back because of the new conference we will be entering. I have some pretty thick burnt orange glasses myself, but I’m a realist. I see things the way they are and not just some roll tide Willie, we are gonna steam roll everyone’s arse by 30 we play bullshite. Sorry ain’t gonna happen.
Look man I get loving your team. And wanting them to win a lot, but you are crazy if you just think bama isn’t gonna take a step back with a brand new coaching staff and possibly and new quarterback. Just how the cookie crumbles.
