He has one of those? Interesting. Coaches don't normally take the field. They put players in positions to succeed. The reason for his winning could be that he was fielding 5 stars that he had recruited from the SEC and if so GREAT for Bama. More likely, he was recruiting players from the same pool of possible players that all of the other schools in that division were recruiting from. He either recruited better than the other schools or he did a better job putting the players in positions to succeed on the field. Either way, GREAT for Bama.
