Defense or rather being serious about defense was/is the only mild concern I have with CKD. You don’t necessarily have to have an incredible defense in the SEC (although it doesn’t hurt) to win but you better have at least a good one.
The cobbled together secondary is going to need some massive coaching up and reps, reps and more reps this Spring and August.

Alabama always plays good defense. Even under questionable coaches, the defense was usually competitive. It's in the programs DNA.
