Wommack is our DC
Linguist is DBs (CBs?)
Roach is our DL
Hitschler is Safeties

Wommack has primarily worked with LBs in the past, so I'm thinking he'll be working with ILBs for Bama but that's just a guess

Are we going to have another LB coach for OLB/Edge players? Haven't seen much since we made the Hitschler hire

Inge from the Washington staff is expected to be the ILB coach.

One of LBs was all Pac-12 1st team and one was all Pac-12 honorable mention.

He was named Our Network, whatever that is, Pac-12 linebacker coach of the year.

I really didn't want to bring in any Washington defensive staff but he has enough to for me to give him a chance. I really want us to go back to that elite linebacker play we use to have.

I was wondering about the same thing. Earlier it was reported that William Inge (Washington's co-DC/LB-coach) would join KDB's staff at Alabama: LINK,
but that seemed premature. Inge's twitter and insta accounts still refer to him as being with the Washington Huskies.

I understand that Bama's defense will probably switch from a 3-4 formation to a 4-2-5 defense. This may mean, looking at KDB's defensive staff in Washington, that there will be only one linebackers coach, and not both an ILB and OLB coach as we've always had under Saban.
