Texas has been waiting for the day they could pay players legally like all the little brothers have been doing illegally for years (sniff, cough A&M, OU, etc) . Now you get to see who your Daddy really is and you don't like it..

Unfortunately... As much as the noble Texas program tried to keep their players from being paid... Guys like Tony Degrate and Chris Simms said that they got paid.
But I'm sure they were the only two.
