I am thrilled.

Bama's program probably needed to be deconstructed and rebuilt. I posted before, this is akin to the reduction of the individual when entering military service. The group is then rebuilt forming a cohesive unit. You probably avoid the event of 'benching' Milroe.

Saban is the GOAT; and none will compare to him. Unlike other great coaches, he seems to have retired near his peak. But even then, he didn't have or generate the energy he displayed when he was 50.

And, I for one, look forward to see how the rebuilt team plays.

One sign of the lack of discipline of a team is the penalties generated. Bama was last in the FBS during much of 2023. It's been going on for a while now.

There is no guarantee any of this will change with Deboer, but it is better than the program 'just continuing' in a bad direction.

OP gets it right, even if it was a joke.

I'm thrilled to death.

You’re obviously in complete denial so you’re saying bizarre comments like this

Saban had more NC’s in him to win.
Now you have an unproven coach that nobody knows who the hell he is

You’re coping with your loss by saying “you’re thrilled to death” People deal with loss in many ways and you are dealing with it by pretending that you’re happy that you’ve just lost the best coach in college football history. We all know you’re really not. It’s a coping mechanism.
