Deep passes are actually the easiest read and throw for young QBs. It's a quick read of the safety and let fly. Not near as much traffic around the catch zone. Plus, receivers can adjust to the ball the longer it's in the air.

Short and intermediate routes are where QBs make their money. Throwing it accurately is at much more of a premium.

Even though they are from HS his highlights showing him hitting those passes with a quick release and in stride allowing the WR to get YAC.
