VERY raw.

Relative to D1 playing time ? Yes.

Raw with his footwork ? No way, he has great feet, look how still his head is when he moves around in the pocket.

His pocket awareness appears to be better than any of the QB's we have on roster, but that is moving at HS speed so definitely have to see how that translates, but Im super impressed with how naturally he steps into the pocket and then makes every little step he has to without being sacked and keeping his eyes downfield, and keeping his base in position to throw the ball. His head stays very still, like a HOF center fielder chasing a fly ball - their eyes dont bounce.

Understanding the system - I mean you'd have to say hes the most advanced of any of them for obvious reasons. He moved his way up the UW depth chart and was the next QB off the bench in last years title game. DeBear and Grubb both literally GUSH over this kid. They watched him in practice all season, and know more than any of us so... me thinks he's a good 1

If we hire an offensive coach and then immediately limit the offense by choosing a QB that cant run his offense I'll be disappointed.

I'm telling you this will not happen. They brought this kid in to play. They know Jalen might or might not be able to pull it off.

I think Milroe gets another level of quarterback coaching which will or won't do the trick.

If it doesn't, he'll be watching from the sidelines.

I posted earlier he makes every throw you so effortless. Very quick release on short throws. Everything was on target. Again we have to see how it translate to SEC/DI play but he has the right attributes to be successful.

Not we do not have other QBs that will not be successful but many our rivals and some in here seem to think we settled for this kid as a consolation prize and he is not.
