My guess he wanted depth in the QB room and someone that knows his system. He has Milroe returning which I believe will get the opportunity to prove himself, but after that based on experience our depth was not really great. Simpson maybe can flourish in our system and yes Sayin had the talent but if I am CKD Mack seems like the perfect 2nd on the depth chart if nothing else because he knows his system.

Milroe will get every chance to be #1 going in the fall but I also think CKD is going to put on the field who he thinks is not just the best but the most consistent. A lot of pressure this fall and he needs wins not the roller coaster we had this past year.
