Not only does it give teenagers a lot of clout, but it allows for other people to take advantage of them for their own interest and further complicate the situation. I do not think playing college sports should be a profession. I wonder is colleges will see it that way some day.

This is something that isn't getting talked about enough. NIL and the portal have definitely given players more power, but I'm not sure it will actually be to their benefit in every case.
