I personally doubt those teams of his make the postseason championships if not for the Notre Dame name. Hell, in 2020 they lost to Clemson by 24 points in the ACC championship and still made the playoffs.

Who was a better option?

In post season games with a championship in play, he was outscored 103-31. He never won a single one of them, or even came close to winning one. Always outclassed and outcoached. And even had he won the the 2012/2013 Championship, it would have been taken away because their season and the following season was vacated for academic violations.

The teams he faced in those games were a combined 41-1, it's not like other teams were beating them either.

2018 Clemson beat Saban just as bad as they did Kelly.

It's just interesting to see some Alabama fans bash BK when it's a very similar hire.

Same goes with LSU fans bashing DeBoer.

Don't even remember honestly. Most likely a team with a tougher SoS and 1 more loss. Really most years it should just be 2 teams that should be there.

Yeah, the other teams were elite, his teams weren't. That's the point.

DeBoer has a playoff win, and he did it with a much less talented team. Texas has been pulling in top5 classes for years now. He's obviously coaching them up.
