The way I see this is that DeBoer has spent a year with this kid. If he wasn't confident he could run his offense and run it well, this move doesn't happen. It's not like he grabbed a 4* qb he's only watched film on and met a couple times. He knows Mack. He may be betting his job in a few years if he made a bad choice, but at some point you have to let the man do his job and watch. At this point, it is what it is.

I'm not worried about the offense whatsoever. It will immediately be more productive than any we've had since Sark left.

It's just the absurdity of the situation with college athletics right now that's frustrating.
