Hate to bust everyone’s hope bubble, but the more things change the more they stay the same.
LSU
Bama
UGA
Those are the top tier programs in the SEC, and will continue to be so… at least until UGA falls on its face.
As far as the playoffs, I could legitimately see Ole Miss or Texas cracking it. Texas will play with passion and on an SEC high next year, like Mizzou and AnM did when they first came into conference. But, I can also see them falling backwards in years to come (just like Mizzou and AnM did). Okie and Texas are gonna understand very quickly the grind that goes along with an SEC schedule. It’s tough to get to the top ONE year, much less sustain it.

LSU is going to take a big step back next year … you just struggled to beat a 5 loss team and no transfer savior is coming . Defenses don’t change automatically it takes time and just because you play a team at home doesn’t mean it’s an auto win .
