I agree.

However, USF at week 2 is a trap game in my view. Bama only beat them by 14 last year, and the 2024 squad will be MUCH different. I could see the Gumps coming out cold to a comparatively empty stadium and shite the bed.

Plus, now everyone sees that Bama isn’t the titan they’ve been for 17 years, and USF will be looking for revenge and looking to be the first team in the country to punch Goliath in the mouth and take them down.

I could see the same scenario with the South Carolina game. Revenge on their mind. The Gumps might come into the game with a 2-3 record, feeling defeated and deflated. Fanbase will have abandoned them, so the home field advantage is a shadow of its former self.

I think 3-9 is a real potential for 2024. I’d be shocked if they had more than 6 wins.
