Next year’s team is too talented to finish 8-4. That would not be an acceptable results. The realistic expectation for next year’s team is to make the playoff. Anything more is gravy, anything less is a failure.

Pretty sure UGA was in fairly good shape when Kirby took over and he promply lost to Vandy in Athens that first year.
