You guys do realize we still have the same amount of four and five stars on our roster as Georgia, right?…

Where the frick is this 8-4 shite coming from

If our coaches are what we expected we hired, we should be a top 10 team next year

1. Year one of a new staff with a significantly different approach on offense and defense

2. Alabama has lost an All-American quality safety, starter quality corner, starting left tackle, and their top two returning pass catchers.

3. Transfers have exacerbated a big turnover in the defensive backfield

4. New staff's first foray into the SEC. They're going to discover some things that worked against Oregon doesn't work against Georgia despite it being the same play call against the same defense.

It is hard to be scientific but first year teams tend to lose games they shouldn't. Remember Nick Saban losing to ULM? Even with a Shula roster, that is a really inexplicable loss for Alabama.

.

It worked against Texas with about half the talent that he has right now. And Texas is just a notch below Georgia in the SEC.

Which we’ve done quite a few times.

It’s really just the corners where we’re thin, and we’ll still be starting a five star in Domani, multi year guy in Malachi, and a handful of second year high four stars and five stars. If not taking someone like Muhammad from the portal

The majority of the defense is returning and the front seven is all in place already

Again, we have depth behind them. They might not be as good, but they’re good. Were also likely to land a few UW starters on line and a solid replacement for Bond in Germie Bernard

We’ve lost far more to the draft year over year before. We at least didn’t lose a QB, which would’ve been far more impactful. We also have all of spring to implement the new guys

I don’t even get this point. Cristobal recruited that roster into a top ten team on the talent composite while Lanning is straight from Georgia and ran a dominant defense against every opponent but UW.

In what world would you compare a sanction riddled roster to this one?

Jesus Christ people get a fricking grip
