If anyone wants to point a finger at CNS, (which I dont suggest anyone should) you could say his inability to find 1 coach to keep, and mentor to take over one day would have been very beneficial.

How do you expect a coach to just sit and wait not knowing when that time will come? There's a reason schools stopped naming "Head Coach in Waiting." I think Saban would have loved to have a guy like Pruitt or Sark take over for him but how can you expect those guys to turn down major Power 5 jobs?

I'm not here to hate on Saban at all. But even when I left a little small managerial job I made sure that I had a transition in place. It's very much unlike him to not have a plan, and I have no idea what is going on, or why it happened so quickly.
