It’s not his job anymore.
Our new coaches shouldn’t even be sleeping right now. He should be saving players any way he can.

Why? You really want this guy on his knees or prostrate, begging people to stay in the name of the great god continuity or to some how keep the Saban mystique alive even though he’s gone?

if this has become such a cult of personality, to that extent, around Saban alone, maybe a little house cleaning and restructuring and “don’t let the door hit you in the arse when you leave” is in order to move away from that even if in the short term it makes people insane or even causes us a bit of pain.

The University of Alabama played football, very successful, for 114 seasons before Saban. God willing it will do the same after Saban.
