If anyone wants to point a finger at CNS, (which I dont suggest anyone should) you could say his inability to find 1 coach to keep, and mentor to take over one day would have been very beneficial.

Again, where is Jeremy Pruitt today if he stays with CNS to the end ?

He was hired by Tenn in 2018 - He would have only had to serve five years to make all his dreams come true. ooof

Pruitt’s dreams evaporated like smoke when Saban retired. He is never going to be back on staff now…kind of like…what’s that dudes name? Oh yeah…Kiffin.

I’m not trying to point blame at Saban. I’m simply saying it might have looked a lot different if he had waited a few weeks. As others have said, we also may have missed on DeBoer.

What does matter is if Harbaugh leaves in a few weeks and this potential admissions hurdle keeps players at UM.

And that's what really pisses me off about him. He couldn't wait for his dream job, and took the job a freaking Tennessee. Make it make sense

Saban would have had at least one more national title with Pruitt, probably more. There were multiple games in the Golding era where Bama would have won if the defense could have forced even three punts over the course of the entire game.

How do you expect a coach to just sit and wait not knowing when that time will come? There's a reason schools stopped naming "Head Coach in Waiting." I think Saban would have loved to have a guy like Pruitt or Sark take over for him but how can you expect those guys to turn down major Power 5 jobs?
