Too many remember the time before unlimited transfer portal.

If you are a true top program you go for the best coach. Let him develop the team.

I've pulled for bama with every coach we've had and never advocated firing any coach.

I let those that were close enough to grade him properly, decide if change is needed.
Besides the Righteous brother years "if you don't know them lucky for you" I think we've done well.
