Let's say...

- DeBoer is a straight X&O guy and wins everywhere he has been.

- Kiffin has the name and excitement and has not won everywhere he has been and has been fired A LOT.

Why would we sale this program short and go for "excitement and fired a lot " over a "straight X&O coach who has won"

I still think a lot of folks are looking very short term and not at the potential we have long term.

Agreed. When all of the bullshite is settled, your going to want a coach that knows how to win and adapt. Saban adapted. But he's the GOAT.

What happens when Kirby and uga go into town in Sept and lose to BAMA? You think that's not going to send a message?
For the first time since Saban came to BAMA, BAMA will be the novelty. The pressure is going to be on every established coach who fields a team against BAMA to beat them. And nobody in the SEC has proven they can beat DeBoer yet. Until they do, the pressure is on them. That's relieving.

Now, if uga storms into BD and beats BAMA by 17+, or they lose to WKU, I may feel differently.
