Better idea:
Don’t recruit players under the guise of playing for one coach and then pull a bait-n-switch
Isn't that what you guys just did before your coaches ran off to LSU after the signing period?

Well alrighty then. Just trying to have a discussion….lol.
Meh I don’t even disagree with your point. In fact I wholeheartedly agree that this isn’t sustainable. Just pointing out that I hadn’t noticed any Bama fans making posts like this until the last few days and it seems like I’m seeing it every few hours.

Bama never cherry picked players who weren’t playing.

Easy fix
It's amazing how Alabama fans are suddenly interested in 'fixing' college football.
It's almost as if the system started working against them or something.

I wonder how playoff team coaches are gonna juggle playing the first round with early signing day. Seems like it's only a matter of time before schools hire GMs.

Good let the hate flow….lol. Don’t fix it. Alabama will always do better than 98 percent of the other programs…will be your loss

Too late for that, the sport is forever screwed

This is the answer. NIL deal requires a commitment. That way it’s outside of the NCAA court case and is contractual. Also need a cap on NIL.

It was obviously a joke, slapdick.

There’s a difference between cherry picking guys that won’t play where they are and raiding a roster…haha
Oh really. So Bama was taking players from other teams because they felt sorry for them because they weren’t playing at their old team? LOL DUDE COME ON
Your new coach and his crew have ZERO ties to the current roster and have no past track record of putting guys in the NFL. This is why these guys are leaving right now.

Whatever. It’s a two way street. We will eventually get our share…. If you don’t want to fix it, so be it.

Whatever the NIL deal these players make with their first team should at least be guaranteed by both parties for 2 years.

Nice melt.
I didn't say anything about whether or not it should be 'fixed', just remarking on how Alabama fans are all of a sudden interested. Almost as if something has gone dreadfully wrong, and now y'all are desperately looking for solutions.

Payable at the end of completed seasons.

I thought NIL "deals" were between a player and someone who wants to hire them to promote their business, not between players and schools. If I'm going to pay a player to use his name and/or likeness to promote my business, that's a contract between me and the player. Why would my contract with a player have to abide by some 3rd party rules? What if I only want his services for one year?
