You got to quit this. You got all the Gumpsters stirred up. You know how sensitive and insecure they all are.

I didn’t know South Alabama produced elite coaching talent so that’s new.

Mama says these Bammers are mad because they stole all these coaches but they don't know who they are.

Oh well, I've heard it's common to be afraid of the unknown.

Saban's first DC hire at Alabama- Kevin Steele- no google Smart's first DC hire at Georgia- Mel Tucker- no google Kelly's first DC hire at LSU- Matt House- no google Meyer's first DC at OSU- Luke Fickell- no google Harbaugh's first DC at Michigan- DJ Durkin- no google

Lmao…out of all of those, the only person who you would not have to google, at the time they were hired, is Mel Tucker and the only reason for that is that he has worked for Saban. All of them were pretty much nobodies. In fact, I recall Bama fans being concerned about Saban naming some obscure guy named Kirby Smart DC whose only DC experience was a season at Valdosta st.

Maybe we should just keep hiring retreads ... Todd Grantham. You wouldn't have to Google him ( but I sure q heck don't want him)

Thos is great for us Auburn fans. We waited 15 years for these days! Day 6 post Saban and the band wagon couldn't be crumbling any faster.

Coach Mo, the new DB coach, was at A&M and was very highly regarded. Great recruiter as well.

Isn't that the school that set a record for freshmen NIL deals?

Some schools got a discount in NIL.
Some schools are forced to pay a premium.

Maurice Linquist, who will presumably be the defensive backs coach at Alabama, has been a DB coach in the NFL.

Kane Wommack is not as well-known, and I admit that, but that doesn’t change that he has done some good things in his career.

Yeah. I had heard of him. He's a good hire. He also can help Kalen master Southern dialect like Brian Kelly did.

I didn’t need to google for Wommack. He’s a head coach at one of the 2nd tier schools in the state. I try to be somewhat aware of South, Jax State, Troy, etc because they might be sitting on a real up and comer. Especially true with Troy.

If you haven’t been fired in pro or college football as an assistant you must not have done shite or coached very long. Hell, your national championship winning HEAD COACH was fired two years after he won it. Your other HEAD COACH coach who beat Saban at Bama more than anybody and made a national championship game…FIRED. Hell Bill Belichek who won 6 Super Bowls just got fired.
