Feel like our needs in the portal right now are:

* Corner (field and boundary)
* Center
* Wide receiver
* Offense tackle
* Safety

We may be able to roll with what we got at safety but an experienced safety in a similar scheme would be huge with all the new faces in the secondary. I'm very concerned about the secondary in 2024. Even before the coaching change, I felt like the unit's success largely depended on Malachi Moore and Caleb Downs providing leadership and great production. Now we're without Downs and one of the likely drop-in replacements at corner (Amos). The corner Muhammad from Washington would be a great add but if he isn't attached to DeBoer then it could be a bidding war we lose with Texas.

Offensive tackle was an interest for Saban before retiring and we signed Betrand. I get the feeling that Pritchett could be a better fit at LT in this scheme than Proctor. He's not as heavy, so he ought to be able to move for pulling blocks on counters much better. Got to imagine they will shop for a drop in replacement for Proctor though. Center needs depth big time. We've basically got one option that is likely ready to play. Brockmeyer may not even be The Answer at center either.

Alabama needs a big body receiver they can play at split end in this offense. Ryan Williams seems more like a flanker body type, if we even sign him on NSD. Even with the loss of Bond, Alabama has two other good slot receivers. I feel like this is a matter of how the current WR room grows in the Spring and if Alabama signs Ryan Williams.

Pritchett

Is he not in the portal? I feel like I saw him mentioned at some point, but it could have been a bad dream.
