A lot of smoke here. Of course, the question is if you weren't willing to let him run the defense when it was really apparent Steele was leaving, why all of the sudden in the last 48 hours. Someone is making you question your moves......

Or what’s more likely is he just needed a little time to actually interview the guy and do his own due diligence? He just met the dude for a couple of minutes for the first time Friday.
