No. First, there's historical precedent that Auburn fans would turn out en masse to vote against him. Second, Republicans/Democrats are probably the least likely in US history to vote for the opposite party.

He wouldn’t have control the way he likes it.

If he could ensure Congress had a high bar, was accountable, and made some asses quit….id be intrigued .
