I wonder when Alabama will start to put out official word on any of the assistants? They haven’t actually confirmed a single assistant coach hiring yet.

In other news have y'all seen these guys they recruited...

I hope we can pull some of those signees from Washington because man they got some underrated talent at the receiver positions and in the secondary.

Jason Robinson 5'10, 165 (WR) extremely shifty and fast. We need that if we miss on Ryan Williams.

Peyton Waters 6'4, 185 (ATH) a tall receiver who is a long strider.

Justice Williams 6'4, 185 (WR) he could be flat out elite. He has the tools.

Joshua Lair 6'1, 175 (S) a straight up thumper

From Tom VanHaaren of ESPN:
quote:

I was told that Alabama freshman Caleb Downs hasn’t made a decision on his future yet, if he’ll stay or transfer.

He’d like to see who’s added to the Bama defensive staff, but very likely could make a decision either way tomorrow. Travaris Robinson staying at Georgia factors in.

Hope we can get some guys on the defensive staff soon.

There are a bunch of stupid takes on this board lately so let me perhaps add another.

If you place the blame on the HC for rich teenagers jumping ship, you might be an idiot. Some of these players are making as much as the people charged with developing them. I don’t know who our highest paid player is but it wouldn’t surprise me if Downs hits a million, wherever he ends up. And what’s the bidding up to on Ryan Williams? Surely somewhere north of half a mil.

We used to be able to get the top recruits with a new Charger and now Texas is handing out Lambo’s. This kind of money is fricking the game up with a quickness.

Pretty sure Rees will be staying as the QB coach. Simpson tweeted a photo of him and Rees

So we can have 2 more on field assistants. Do we go the 2 secondary coach route and 1 LB, or vice versa?

Who would be an option for ILB or OLB?

You would think if Bala was going to retained it would have been announced already
