As was mentioned, so does Sonny Dykes (and it only took him 1) yet I don't think he's a particularly great coach.

It's funny to see the Bammers who made fun of the BK hire now try to justify a pretty similar hire, not directed at you.

Yeah, Sonny Dykes took his team to the national championship. Then fell off a cliff his second season. DeBoer went 11-2 in his first season and improved upon that in his second going 14-1. He went 25-3 and was riding a 21 game winning streak while going 5-0 against the "can't miss" candidates, Lanning and Sark. I think Alabama will happily take its chances
