They already did. He’s a poor man’s Brian Kelly in terms of track record and they were laughing their asses off at us and still are. Ed Orgeron proved that you can’t judge a coach by their record with a Heisman caliber QB

He has more wins in the CFP than Brian Kelly and it only took him 2 seasons at a P5.

Two big differences in the Brian Kelly hire:
1. BK was 60 and DeBoer is 49.
2. BK already had a top 10 program with talent and consistently lost the big games against other talented teams.

BK had every opportunity to get it done and was consistently good but not great, exactly what he has been at LSU so far. He’s a known commodity on his last few good years left in him.
