No, I’m saying specifically if that one 3-pt game from this year turns out differently then this man is likely not a candidate for the job he just took.
The point being how small his sample size is at this level. We’ve seen this happen many times with these “in the moment” hires. I assure you Bama would’ve preferred someone with a longer history in D1.

LSU fans are really in their feelings over this hire.
Only base I’ve seen that’ll say a HC with zero big bowl wins is good but a HC who took a 4 win team to an undefeated season with a Heisman Finalist QB winning a NY6 game enroute to the NCG in 2 yrs Isnt

Deboer already has a better coaching record than Kelly before he ever coached his first game with Bama talent. That goes for Freeze too.

Yeah but Vols greatest team ever. We had 38 scholarship players . But Vols are great . By the way enjoy that baseball NC.

Washington (the school) does not allow NIL money to be given to players unless they are on the team and doing something to deserve it, which is a huge disadvantage that he won't have at Alabama. He'll have Saban to help him for a while and he'll have west coach connections too (our incoming #1 QB is from California, lots of good players that don't want to play for Riley). I think we're good.
