Which hire would you have not loved? Because I'm pretty sure you'd have made this post no matter who they hired.

Probably shouldn't view it this way yet. He took a bunch of walkons to the title game.

He’s going to throttle that coon arse and y’all’s anxiety is clearly visible in what is being said. I think Alabama just knocked its out of the park.

I do, too. A coach in his late 40s who embraces NIL, is willing to work the portal, and wins at every level he’s coached? Yes, please.

This was a great hire with an eye towards the future. I was nervous that Bama would pull another Ray Perkins and try to replicate the past, but Bama didn’t do that. I don’t know if he was first choice on Wednesday evening (and neither do any of you internet pundits), but he might well prove to be the best choice.

We do too. LSU will never beat Alabama as long as he is the head coach

DeBoer takes a bunch of 3-stars to an undefeated season knocking off Lanning's Oregon team twice, then to the playoffs where he beats future SEC team Texas, and plays for a national title with said 3-stars.

Now imagine what he does with a roster full of 5* studs and a world-renowned cursive script 'A' on his shirt instead of a has-been program like Washington.

He's a great hire and the guy does it the right way, coaching what pieces he's dealt to the upper limits of what they're capable of. I, for one, think it's a great sneaky hire for Alabama but as an opposing fan I hate it. I don't want to *like* the coach at Bama while he's kicking our asses, but that seems to be what just happened.

LSU fans seem to be the most insecure, scared, and nervous of all for some reason
