I have absolutely zero doubt if Bama hired Sark, Kiffin or Lanning these same folks would call Deboer a better hire. The thing is, they'd have a better point then. The argument would actually be on their side.

Kiffin isnt a better hire. He's failed more than succeeded all the places he's been. The SEC has been a hot mess during his time at OM and he still lost to the good teams he played in conference.
As for DeBoer, He showed the drop off against Michigan with a defense. Atleast Bama got them to OT with Milroe. DeBoer had an offense and did nothing.

lol, no way. Out of the candidates, overall most were not too worrying to me. I think Kiffin I would be worried the most of if he had Bama talent and continued to recruit like he does. I think Sark is probably next because I think he is closest to the style of Saban and would continue what Saban has done.
After that there was a dropoff to Norvell just because of great defense. Lanning would have been a decent hire, but just like Deboer, he is very untested and new at being a head coach so wasn't really worried about either of these guys.
