They'll win at least one just because the other team hasn't beaten them in a million years.

But yeah, 7-5 or 8-4 is the reality.

No playoffs for the Gumps. 2023 was their last Hurrah. But at least they have Dixieland Delight! That'll always be their song.

Oh wait, that song's about Tennessee.

OK, they have nothing but their old coach, perched like a vulture overlooking the smoking ruins of his once-great dynasty, laughing his butt off at all the fans who thought the dynasty would live on without him.

Jimmy Johnson took over an absolutely loaded Miami program and went 8-5 his first season. I think we can all agree that there could be some transition and growing pains in 2024. Just have to wait and see.

Do they even have a 2025 recruiting class anymore?

They’ll have to shop the recruiting clearance aisle for players.
