Anything is going to be hard to compare to Saban. But we have a coach that took over a 4 win team and took them to a title game in two years.

As they say, "comparison is the thief of joy".

Well I bet we don’t lose any WRs now and Ryan Williams recommits.

If he's phoned Williams from the airport it would show alot. You know he had to be given a list of priority recruits not yet signed.

DeBoer better be a recruiting farmer

This will come down to his staff especially if he keeps some of Saban's assistants.

Deal should be finalized soon. DeBoer has won 11 or more games in seven of his nine seasons as a head coach. Was always right at the top of ?@AlabamaFTBL ? and AD Greg Byrne’s targets.

There's a good chance Auburn paid so much, it's just not worth it anymore, and we could get multiple other elite players with the same money.

It was rumored that he did not want to be the OC at Bama because he'd have to run our offense instead of DeBoer's.

Not trying to start a fight but he also mentioned staying with Penix over what we had at QB

Will Rogers had Leach as HC then he died.

He transfers to UW and then DeBoer could leave. Someone want to check on him. He going to have abandonment issues.

So this makes sense. Nick wanted DeBoers OC, but he wouldn't come. So when Nick retires - he wanted DeBoer.

So there was a plan

He has also been a machine against ranked opponents and has a 5-0 record against Lanning and Sark head to head. He's a fantastic football coach who knows how to win. Just gotta make sure the staff is right.

I think with the portal as an aid all you need to do is finish in the top 6 in recruiting high schoolers and you'll be fine
