Among those emerging as serious contenders along the lines of earning interviews: Washington coach Kalen DeBoer, Florida State coach Mike Norvell and incumbent Tide offensive coordinator Tommy Rees. Two other names with some measure of traction in the search: former Broyles Award-winning Alabama assistant coach Mike Locksley and current Missouri head coach Eli Drinkwitz, per sources in upper levels of college athletics administration.
Sark isn't on the list. That pretty much guarantees it's him.

If message board rumors are starting to swirl about Sark being offered, then it's most certainly not him. That's not how Byrne operates.
I don’t disagree and have very little confidence in landing Sark.
But the mole could be on the UT side.

Bad look when you've had five seasons as a head coach and your title still puts the most emphasis on the Broyles Award.

If it's Locksley, Rees, or Drink, I might take a break from Alabama and check back in for the next coaching search in two years. Surely Byrne can't seriously be considering any of those guys.

If so that’s fireable

Seriously, Byrne might as well just torch the football complex and Bryant-Denny if it’s any of these guys.

I wouldn't be just destroyed with Drinkwitz or Locksley...just don't think they would be here long...
Others have said Rees is gaining...that would require firing
