Home insurance is skyrocketing everywhere in Florida. It’s a huge problem that the legislature is about ten years too late in trying to solve.

Legislation will not solve it. If you don't like the rates living in a coastal state and want legislation to dictate what companies can change, they just won't do business in that state.

In the last legislative session the FL representatives went all in on defending the insurance companies over people.

Anywhere coastal that is susceptible to storm damage is getting raked over the coals now. Even if we didn’t see a storm in south LA for a few years, we will still pay for claims across the gulf south. Almost makes me want to move inland and live in Nebraska or some shite
