They pled down in a corrupt system to avoid jail. Bet money the prosecution don't call them as witnesses.

The people giving testimony and telling about Trumps attempt to steal the election aren’t Democrats. They are Republicans. Many who worked in the White House. They are squealing like pigs now that they are being held accountable for their illegal activities.

They were forced into court and threatened with pen time if they didn't back down. Happens a lot, unfortunately. This government has diligently tracked down every single person that set foot on the Capitol on Jan 6th, guilty or innocent, and run them through the ringer to teach them a lesson:
