No big deal. We will hire Drink to replace him.

Too easy.

Aggy fans making fun of the Rosy Finch was funny when it happened for one HUGE reason.

But now this.

Equally funny how Mizzy fans usually team up with Aggy on this board due to similarities.

Fisher still cannot see the trees within the forest. Guy is 110% clueless in today's modern NIL.

Portal? What portal?

He invested everything in overprivledged 5 stars. And then he bolstered their poor work ethic by treating em with white gloves.

Glad we dont have to listen to his stupid rants and broken record statements. The game has long since passed him up. Hard lesson to learn but glad we have Elko who gets it.

I'm sure the same thing was said about Bear Bryant in the late '60s as he suffered through several four and five loss seasons. He adjusted by implementing the wishbone and the rest is history.. I don't see firing a proven, championship winning coach, without giving him the benefit of the doubt for a few years... Especially one recruiting at such a high level

I agree Aggie firing Jimbo is a huge mistake. Look at the replacement and ask yourself if Coach Elmo is that guy? Aggie getting all excited while Elmo loads up on warm bodies in the portal. What exactly makes Aggie better by firing Jimbo, eating the 77m and hiring Elmo? That makes little sense. Basically to pacify the Aggie donors who for some strange reason believe they’re a football powerhouse. Problem is Aggie thinks winning championships is just like going to the store and buying something.

Delusional. The team quit on him, and he didn’t even realize as much

Jimbo and Coach O running the two man at Flora-Bama must be a sight to behold.

Biggest panic move in CFB history. They saw Texas and OU having successful seasons on the verge of joining the conference and said we have to do something. Fired Jimbo, paid him a historic buyout, and had no plan for his replacement. Stoops fiasco, and then landed on Elko. Now they're replacing a bunch of 5 stars with a bunch of scrubs from the portal.

Sorry but y’all firing a 8-9 win coach is dumb asf.
but..but...it shows they're serious about *winning and wont accept mediocrity!!!1

*Also couldnt afford the optics of their highest paid coach ever going into his seventh season losing to big bro with a much lower paid coach going into his 4th.

That was a great line. Crazy that Jimbo got $60 million more than O.
And without a national title.

Jimbo is really in high cotton. No more worrying about this or that. I believe his son has made the turn health wise and that is great.

We should all be in such a great position.

I will miss the days wheren the A&M QB came to sideline only to meet Jimbo and that three LB folder of plays. The look on both Jimbo and the QB's were priceless.

"what the fuk or you doing?"

Funny.

But we paid 17mm after he had the best team of all time.

Aggy paid that with 60mm tip to average 8-4.

I wish I was that bad at my job and got that kind of money.

For someone to receive that kind of money to "go away" is just the bottom of the barrel kind of sad. Both parties deserved each other for allowing this to happen.

You don't get it. LSU fans were saying LSU will win a championship soon with Kelly as the HC. I disagree. Kelly is the one going to keep finding ways to lose a game or two. Look what Fisher did at Texas A&M. Fisher was just a bad HC. Kelly just doesn't have the "win it all" as a HC. He had many chances and just couldn't get it done.

Everyone has their opinions.

But let's remember that it was also your opinion that A&M was about to be a new power and that would be one of the factors keeping BK from winning a title.

That is what happens when you recruit a bunch of mercenaries as Fisher did. At least we’ve learned that lesson
