I remember when these threads were being created about Joe Milton.

No you don't. There was never a thread started about Milton after his first start as a true freshman.

Manning's first start - 10-9 win over #17 Washington State (who finished at #19 at 8-4)

Nico's first start - 35-0 win over #17 Iowa (who finished #19 at 10-4)

Seems like a long time ago.

Well...Joe Milton was a Freshman in 2018...so it was a long time ago.

LSU went 1-3 against Top Ten teams. LSU averaged 38 PPG in those 4 games. You're right; it was the QB's fault.

Say what?

I have never promised anyone that I would ban myself from anywhere.

You, sir, are a liar.

He will be, if he stays at Alabama and remains healthy.

I said JD5 would be a Heisman contender last year too and a lot of folks here didn't believe it.

The only reason JD won a Heisman was the same reason Peyton lost it. ESPN campaign hype.

They should rename the award The ESPN Ratings Trophy.

ESPN is tied to the SEC. From this point foward it will be virtually impossible for a non-SEC (ESPN) team player to win.

ESPN has been awarding this trophy for 25 years, not the New York Athletic Club.

I love how people conveniently forget football (aw-L in particular) is a team sport when they start trying to argue individual awards.
