Are you asking why Mizzou shouldn't offer an outrageous price to keep him?
Because Drinkwitz and your AD are good at their jobs, and presumably already have a shortlist of potential and realistic replacements.

Hope you are right and perhaps I'm just overreacting, but this is seriously impacting my 2023 high!
