Along with that poverty comes the best black athletes in America. What a great place to locate and coach football areas. Connecticut is rich. Where would you want to coach?

Connecticut, obviously. You have to live where you coach and Louisiana is a shite hole

I've often wondered what the SEC would have looked like if they had been the first conference to integrate instead of the last. Probably have about 40 more national championships in football and dependent on what the ACC did... about the same in basketball.
I am old enough to remember when a good portion of the NFL superstars were from HBCUs.
