I understand why you would strategically pass on Golding. Why would you poach the DC from Ole Miss who gave up 49 points to you this year? Like Sun Tzu said, never interrupt your enemy while he is making a mistake.

Blake Baker’s defense only surrendered, let me look it up, 49 points to LSU this season. Wow, what a coincidence.

Well never mind, maybe Golding was your first choice.

Final score was an interception for a touchdown to ice the game with 34 seconds left.

Not knocking Baker (we hated him enough to fire him once) but we kind of had a good offense this year. Or so I have been told.
