Milroe is some responsible for the sacks and not only because he has no pocket presence, sometimes apparently panics, and sometimes actually runs into pressure, but also because he has no passing game over the middle to keep the defense honest. Michigan knew he wasn’t going to pass down at the endzone. The coaches don’t trust him to do it.
Eta. So what does Milroe do? Run straight into a pile of bodies. Didn’t even try to make a play.
