Top 4 conf chaps get the byes, so 2 SEC teams cannot get bye same year, not necessarily P4 though as there is no official "P4"

This will be very controversial as this year the highest ranked team from the 2024 big 12 was 14 Arizona, who would get the bye over a top 4 B10 (Washington) and SEC team (Bama/ Texas) add to that the bizarre seedings. 5 seed get a home game vs Liberty then AZ in the Quarters. 3 seed gets a bye but has to play Ohio State in the Quarters
